National Node - Slovakia

Scope of the Nationa Node(NN): The Slovak NN aims to foster effective knowledge exchange among AKIS stakeholders, with a strong focus on farmers as key actors in innovation uptake. The Node brings together farmers, advisors, and NGOs, and works closely with the AKIS CB across a range of activities, including workshops and webinars. While there are currently no active OGs in Slovakia, several NN members have successfully submitted OG proposals under the previous call, which are expected to be implemented under the Strategic Plan.

Members:

  • PROUNION – is a member of the EIP-AGRI consortium and acts as an advisory service provider, responsible for disseminating calls to farmers, supporting their understanding of eligibility and requirements, and assisting with the preparation, processing, and submission of applications. In this role, PROUNION serves as a key intermediary between policy instruments and farming practice, facilitating farmers’ access to innovation support and multi-actor project opportunities. https://prounion.sk/en/about-us

The collaboration is mainly centred on regenerative agriculture, supporting the dissemination of practical experience, expert knowledge, and dialogue on soil health and sustainable farming practices.
