Scope of the NN: The primary aim of the Hungarian Soil–X–Change National Node is to gather, organize, and disseminate knowledge related to sustainable and regenerative soil and agricultural practices among Hungarian farmers, advisors, and researchers. The main elements of the Node’s thematic focus include soil renewal and regenerative practices, such as humus management, enhancing the effectiveness of green manure and cover crops, promoting biological soil activity, improving soil structure and water management, and implementing input-reduction technologies.
Like other national nodes, the Hungarian National Node is also a multi-stakeholder, practice-oriented, interactive, and open knowledge platform that encompasses scientific, advisory, and practical viewpoints. In addition to the representatives of Operational Groups, stakeholders from the following institutions are also engaged in the activities of the Node:
- academic institutions (e.g., Hungarian University of Life Sciences and Agriculture, HUN-REN Institute for Soil Science, Hungarian Soil Science Society);
- policy and support organizations (e.g., Innovation and Digitalization Support Unit, Hungarian Chamber of Agriculture, Ministry of Agriculture);
