ZALF field day „Soil.Knowledge.Action – 30 years of field trials in Lietzen” on 2025-09-04 in Germany

Soil-X-Change participated at the ZALF field day “Soil.Knowledge.Action – 30 years of field trials in Lietzen” on 2025-09-04. We presented and demonstrated sensor-based soil mapping with multi-sensor platforms and hand-held sensors for precision liming. There was a vital discussion with about 60 participants from practical agriculture, agricultural advisory and industry as well as academia about the need of high-resolution soil property data for applying site-specific and demand-oriented fertilization and how this data can be obtained using soil sensors.
